Naxxar Victorians are proud to announce that Coach Jake Agius has extended his stay with the club following mutual agreement over the past few weeks.
After a record number of points throughout the season, where the Victorians garnered 14 points from 12 matches and finished in third place after Swieqi United AFC and Qajjenza AFC, the club felt the need to keep up consistency, starting with the team’s coaching staff and player nucleus.
In a short statement, Agius showed his appreciation towards this extension and called upon his players to step up for the coming season.
“I’d like to thank the committee for giving me another chance to take on this next season. I hope we’ll be able to do better next year,” Agius said.
Agius’ first task will be to set up his squad for the coming season which will begin with the Twanny Agius Fair Play Cup in September.
