Barney to stay on as Victorians coach next season

Luke Camilleri confirmed that he shall continue to be in charge of Naxxar Victorians FC’s squad next season last weekend during NIGHT OF THE VICTORIANS. Amidst speculation revolving around the idea that Camilleri could take a different post with another local club, the club had been at a crossroads as to whether a new coach would have to be appointed or not. However, both Camilleri and President, Karl Borg have made it very clear that an arrangement has been made to keep him at the club for the coming season.

Victorians president visits Nigel in Sutton

Naxxar Victorians president, Karl Borg visited Naxxar’s favourite boy, Nigel Spiteri this past week. Spiteri, who is currently waiting for treatment in Sutton, UK has always been a fan of both Naxxar Lions and the Victorians and so, a visit from Borg came as a pleasant surprise.

Victorians get ‘Iron-man’ treatment

The Naxxar Victorians squad faced the challenging figure of athlete, Fabio Spiteri yesterday evening. The four-times Ironman finisher was brought into this week’s training session to help the team overcome the fitness problem which we encountered during our last friendly against Gharghur Bushwackers.

Naxxar Victorians to play in MAFA 2017/18

For the coming season, the Naxxar Victorians club has decided to move away from 8-a-side football. They have shifted onto an 11 man squad in order to take part in the Malta Amateur Football Association’s weekly league. This means that the era of the ‘Victorians FT’ is now over after a great five years. ​
